Protect and Serve was one of the best things my parents have done for me.  Thank you so much for this experience, I would absolutely recommend this to any potentially new drivers.  I learned everything I need to be a safe driver.

I feel that Protect and Serve Driving Academy taught me how to stay safe and protect myself from other people on the road.  They taught me through personal experience and told me what I will really encounter when driving on the road.  The Instructors were fun to work with and taught me more than I could have imagined.  Thank you

Protect & Serve is a fantastic program that teaches you the basics of driving and prepares you for the challenging tasks you will face ahead.  The teachers and directors of the program are able to produce the perfect learning environment so that you are able to learn and be able to succeed in any circumstance.  I have really enjoyed the program and recommend it for many other teenagers that are prepared for the driving life that awaits them.  Protect and Serve is for teenagers that do not want to be complacent with their driving and want to be able to improve.

My experience in this class was great!!  I learned a lot of new things about driving that I had never known before like ABS brakes, driving technique and what to do in emergency situations along with all other situations.  The instructors were very friendly, funny and could relate to teens as well.  On top of this I also made new friends.

I think this class was very helpful because of all of the experienced officers and drivers.  They know first-hand what danger can be caused by careless driving.  I think this class is better than an online self-taught class, because you are less prone to be distracted and you can ask questions.

Dear Protect and Serve Driving Academy,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you personally for the experience we had this summer with your driving school. I had seen your advertisement and link on the ThunderRidge website last spring, after we began looking into driving instruction for our son Rowdy. Because our school resource officer, Vance Fleet, was involved, it was clear it would be a great school. I had looked into many other schools, and had been frustrated at the price, location and convenience of each. It was nice to see a different choice, in our price range and so close to our house.

My son is a good person, but is not the best at paying attention and staying focused. This was a concern of mine going in to a week long, all day driving course. The instructors at Protect and Serve did a great job of engaging the students with practical knowledge and real world examples in their lessons. The boys talked every day after class about what they had learned. It's not easy to keep a group of teenagers engaged during the summer for that period of time. They did a wonderful job!

As far as convenience and communication, your school was second to none. We received email reminders with information about the structure of the day for the kids during the week of their class. It was very clear what would be taking place each day. It was nice that you included a downloadable instruction manual for both the students and the parents. It was also helpful to have recommended lunch time information, so we understood what would be happening during lunch breaks for our kids. I appreciated the class options designed to fit the needs of our busy teenagers and their crazy lives. It was great to have so many class times to choose from!

We are looking forward to scheduling our 6 hour drive time with your instructors this month. Thanks to your school, the process of teaching our child to drive has been much less painful than I suspected. Rowdy is confident, knowledgeable, and ready to complete his driving instruction with Protect and Serve Driving Academy. I jump at the chance to recommend your services to others who are looking for a quality driving school for their teenager!

Thanks again for taking the time to teach our child to drive!

I liked taking Protect and Serve to learn how to drive because it made me more confident.  The fact that it was taught by Police makes me feel a lot better.  They have a lot of experience and that makes me feel a lot better.  Now I feel like I?ll be safe.  It made me very aware of the dangers of driving but it also taught me to avoid anything that might be dangerous.

I really did enjoy the class this week.  I learned a lot more than I thought I would and actually had fun.  I wouldn?t change anything from the experience I had this week.

These past few days were truly amazingly awesome!  If I had chosen a different driving school, I guarantee that I wouldn?t have learned half of what I learned here at Protect and Serve Driving Academy!  Thank you so much for spending free time, fun time and all your time this week to teach me how to drive.  Keep this program going because you are making people and the road a better place to drive.

As you are aware, my daughter, Natalie Lange recently took the 30- hour classroom course at PHS. The in-class portion was completed this past Saturday and I had an opportunity to sit in on the class for about an hour and a half, this Saturday, as well.  Thought you might appreciate some feedback!

Over the course of this class, my daughter has been quite communicative, with me, regarding her experience; and conveyed the following:

    1. The class, for Natalie, was productive and information provided was useful and meaningful.
    2. Officer Wilson's laid back demeanor was non-threatening and sincere.
    3. Natalie really appreciated hearing some of Officer Wilson's personal experiences.
    4. She felt communication was welcomed and easy.
    5. She felt a little more focus on the actual tests may be of use for future students -
i.e.  Since not all the tests are the same, prepare students that some tests are more difficult
and subjective than others; Some test questions are worded very tricky and could be       construed in different ways by the test taker (some questions are worded in such a way as to not make sense at all or are highly subject to the reader (test H3 - ask Officer Wilson). I think, what she was trying to convey is more clarification on driving courtesy, as compared to actual driving law.

I explained to her, defensive drivers practice courtesy as part of their standard driving techniques regardless of whether the law requires them to.

According to Natalie, she has a great deal of respect for Officer Wilson and his teaching
technique.  Apparently he made it clear, at the onset, he was there to offer assistance and educate kids that want to be prepared, but the final outcome was entirely up to each student. She was impressed Officer Wilson put the responsibility on each kid to take from the course what they chose to.  It's good for kids to have fun in a learning environment, but socialization is not the primary purpose, nor should it be.  Officer Wilson exhibited skill in guiding kids back to the task at hand.

I, personally, felt the drug/alcohol portion was very informative and enlightened me on a few things I was not aware of. It's important, in my opinion, for parents to try and stay up to date on the new activities and products each generation may be experiencing.

Overall, Natalie felt the course was definitely worth it and so do I.  Natalie is looking forward to the BTW training, once I take her to get her permit.

Thanks again, to you and your staff at Protect and Serve Academy.
It's my hope; you experience much success for this much needed important endeavor. By the way, love the name you chose for this academy.

I would like to personally thank Protect and Serve Driving Academy in Centennial for the extraordinary service they provided when I sought to obtain a driver’s license recently.  I was just coming off a one year revocation, as I had been found guilty of a DUI in 2008. Imagine my excitement to once again qualify for a license and drive a car that I kept insured yet just setting in my garage all that time unused! After all, I had an established residential real estate practice and getting to properties around Denver and visiting clients was a frequent occurrence. It was humiliating  and financially painful to use either RTD  or pay a driver to get me where I needed to go the whole previous year, but I needed to learn a lesson, and so that is what I did.

Then the day came!  However, how disappointing it was to find out that it would take three to four weeks to get a driving appointment with the DMV. I found that totally unacceptable. DMV said that going to a private driving school was an option, so I located Protect and Serve Driving Academy in Centennial from the DMV’s data base and found the cost to be comparable. I signed up, as they could get me in right away!

The staff at Protect and Serve not only treated me with respect, but actually made me feel like a VIP!  They were compassionate about the sense of urgency I felt to have a driver’s license.  They came to me, since I couldn’t drive, to administer the written test.  After I got my permit the next day, they picked me up from the Littleton DMV and let me drive their car to their facility. This way I could get the feel of their car, before I did the driving test. I past the test and they were kind enough to return me to the DMV office to get my license!  Service like that is rare today.

I highly recommend anyone seeking a driver’s license to call on Protect and Serve Driving Academy in Centennial.

Sincerely,

(Our first BOST customer)
